To be one is to recognize the fact of our oneness with all of life and act like it.

To love is the very nature of our life energy and when expressed it creates health, sanity and wellbeing.

From your experience earlier in this chapter, making your own Mobius strip, you recognize that it is possible to hold a representational model in your hands of the truth that proves that there is no inside and outside, there is only one side.

We have a built-in, almost compulsive belief that everything has two sides, that everything has a beginning and an end, and that there is some sort of balance between light and dark, good and evil, and all the other pairs of opposites. This dualistic thinking underlies thousands of our concepts, which form the foundations of the systems of knowledge that make up what we know — or rather, what we think we know.

Even to the most advanced minds in science, the simple concept that the Universe is One Whole seems impossible to accept. Yet the simple Mobius band provides proof of the factual and measurable existence of an object in our three-dimensional world of matter that demonstrates this truth.
